How to use the waiting list

The waiting list is there for parents to express their interest in booking an activity that is full. If there are any cancellations, you will be able to contact the parents and book them on. 

Automatic waiting list user notification 

When creating an activity, you will have been given the option to turn on Automatic waiting list user notification. This will automatically send an email to all attendees on the waiting list to let them know that a space has become available so that they can log in and book on a first come first served basis. 

If manual acceptance is also enabled, you will simply need to approve the booking.

Step 1

If a cancellation request is received, you will receive an email letting you know. You can then login and approve the cancellation. 

Once done, this will send an email to the parent letting them know that their cancellation request has been approved and their credits have been refunded. 

Step 2

Click on View waiting list

Step 3

All attendees on the waiting list will be displayed here, click on the three dots and select View attendee details to see the details entered by the parent when joining the waiting list. 

Select Book to activity to add a recipient on to the activity.

This will send the parents/guardians an email notifying them that they have been approved for the activity, it will then show in their bookings.
